It’s no secret that students with ADHD struggle with academic performance. But we were conditioned into thinking that this is the result of a learning disability.
In reality, its a symptom of an education system that was designed to program you to accept having the life force sucked out of you by spending your prime years trading your time for wages that are just barely enough for you to survive.
Does that sound like a system you want to thrive in anyway?
For most of human history, children just learned from their parents whatever they needed to survive. What changed?
Before the first compulsory schooling laws in 1852, education was private and decentralized. As a result, they had a thriving and widespread classical education including the study of Greek, Latin, history and science.
An 1840 census found the the United States was a nation of readers with a remarkable 93% to 100% literacy rate.
But the oligarchs and monopolists of the Industrial Revolution saw this kind of education which trained people how to think for themselves, as a threat to the establishment. Instead they wanted a compliant wage slave class that was just educated enough to live a life of obedience the drudgery of factory work.
Frederick T. Gates, a business advisor to John D. Rockefeller, even stated that the goal was not to raise philosophers or men of learning but to produce a compliant workforce.
A lot of people don’t like homeschooling because they think its parents indoctrinating their children. But it’s actually the public schools that are doing more indoctrinating than educating.
Here are 3 things compulsory schools will never educate you on that are crucial for our survival.
1. How to learn and think independently
Raising and educating people who can learn and think for themselves is not in the interest of the establishment. Because people who think for themselves are harder to control, and the establishment wants a compliant population of workers.
In fact, the founder of the modern education system John D Rockefeller said these words:
“I dont want a nation of thinkers, I want a nation of workers.”
2. Financial literacy
An estimated 60% of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck and 340 million are debt slaves. So why aren’t we taught personal finance in school?
Did you know there’s a difference between money and currency? You were probably never taught this in school because the establishment doesn’t want you to know that dollar is a massive ponzi scheme and that the entire money supply is controlled by a central bank that robs us through inflation.
You also aren’t taught how to start a business for the same reason – the system wants you to be a worker, not a problem solver or participant in the marketplace of ideas.
3. Emotional Intelligence
Our ability to self regulate impacts every aspect of our lives. And let me be clear, its a good thing this isn’t taught in schools in a uniform manner. Its something that parents should be integrating with their child’s education.Emotional intelligence training needs to be done on an individual basis, it requires personal attention that the compulsory school system doesn’t offer since its meant to produce workers by educating in groups.
“Everything the establishment has told you is wrong with you, is actually what is right with you.” -Garret John LaPorto
You were hard-wired to be a maverick, a hunter, a visionary. The disorder is the system that society has imposed upon us, forcing us to medicate just because our brains are incompatible with a society that is meant to keep us enslaved to the 40 hour work week.
I’m here to tell you that you were meant for bigger and better things, you just need to find your zone of genius where you can thrive and build a dynamic life for yourself, independent of a system rigged against you from birth.
There is a way out and if you follow along, I will show you..
Stay curious for life.
